Profits Are Better Than Wages!

Profits are better than wages by Jim Rohn;

My mentor, when I was 25 years old, dropped a phrase on me that changed my life forever when he said, "profits are better than wages. Wages will make you a living, profits can make you a fortune." You know it is a bit difficult to get rich on wages, but anybody can get rich on profits. Profits change your whole attitude, even if you start part-time. Whether it's part time on your entrepreneurial business, network marketing company or service business.

It can be a landscape business in the summer or hanging Christmas lights in the winter. It can be training, consulting or tutoring. It can be your hobby such as painting, writing, crafts, woodworking, computers or cooking. But once you start investing even part time effort into your own business, you will find how much more exciting it is to get up in the morning and go to work on your fortune, even if you're only spending a few hours a week doing it.

How empowering it is to be able to go to work on your fortune every day rather than going to work to pay the rent. Now - it is noble to go to work to pay the rent, but if you could also parcel out part of your time - go to work to make your fortune. Your whole attitude changes; your spirit changes. It is in your voice. It is in your face. It is in your gestures. And then you can say, "I am now working full-time on my job and part-time on my fortune because I found a way to make profits." Wow!

Resultat, från Jim Rohn;

At the end of each day, you should play back the tapes of your performance. The results should either applaud you or prod you.

The greatest form of maturity is at harvest time. This is when we must learn how to reap without complaint if the amounts are small and how to reap without apology if the amounts are big.

Life asks us to make measurable progress in reasonable time. That's why they make those fourth grade chairs so small – so you won't fit in them at age twenty-five!

There are some things you don't have to know how it works - only that it works. While some people are studying the roots, others are picking the fruit. It just depends on which end of this you want to get in on.

Företagsamhet, från Jim Rohn;

Human beings have the remarkable ability to turn nothing into something. They can turn weeds into gardens and pennies into fortunes.

Enterprise is better than ease.

Showing a profit means touching something and leaving it better than you found it.

Enterprise is the hope of our future.

Profits are better than wages. Wages make you a living; profits make you a fortune.

We all know a variety of ways to make a living. What's even more fascinating is figuring out ways to make a fortune.

Kids ought to have two bicycles, one to ride and one to rent.

Passivt i väntan på pengar

Tänkvärda citat från boken Richest Man In Babylon

"Make your money work hard for you rather than you working hard for your money. Have the patience and persistence to let your money grow, compounding each year."

"Every gold piece you save is a slave to work for you. Every copper it earns is its child that also can earn for you."

Läste boken förra året, men blev påmind när jag läste Per Penning senaste inlägg där han nämner bloggen 40procent 20år, läs inlägget passiv inkomst, riktigt bra läsning.

Träna ett barn, från Jim Rohn;

How many languages can a child learn? As many as you will take the time to teach them.

Even kids can get started on becoming financially independent. Kids can make profits long before they can legitimately earn wages.

Kids ought to have two bicycles: one to ride and one to rent.

Kids don't lack capacity, only teachers.

I teach kids how to be rich by the time they are age 40, 35 if they are extra bright. Most kids think they are extra bright, so they go for 35.

What should a child do with a dollar? Here's one philosophy: It's only a child and it's only a dollar, so what difference does it make? Wow, what a philosophy! Where do you suppose everything starts for the future? Here's where it starts – it starts with a child and a dollar. You say, "Well, he's only a child once. Let him spend it all." Well, when would you hope that would stop? When he's fifty and broke like you?

If kids clearly see the promise, they will gladly pay the price.

Vitaminer för ditt tankesätt #2

Träna är att vara som ett barn, från Jim Rohn;

Remember the master teacher once said 2000 years ago, "Unless you can become like little children, your chances are zero, you haven't got a prayer." A major consideration for adults.

Be like children and remember there are four ways to be more like a child no matter how old you get –

1) Curiosity - Be curious. Childish curiosity. Learn to be curious like a child. What will kids do if they want to know something bad enough? You're right. They will bug you. Kids can ask a million questions. You think they're through. They've got another million. They will keep plaguing you. They can drive you right to the brink.

Also kids use their curiosity to learn. Have you ever noticed that while adults are stepping on ants, children are studying them? A child's curiosity is what helps them to reach, learn and grow.

2) Excitement - Learn to get excited like a child. There is nothing that has more magic than childish excitement. So excited you hate to go to bed at night. Can't wait to get up in the morning. So excited that you're about to explode. How can anyone resist that kind of childish magic? Now, once in awhile I meet someone who says, "Well, I'm a little too mature for all that childish excitement." Isn't that pitiful? You've got to weep for these kinds of people. All I've got to say is, "If you're too old to get excited, you're old." Don't get that old.

3) Faith - Faith like a child. Faith is childish. How else would you describe it? Some people say, "Let's be adult about it." Oh no. No. Adults too often have a tendency to be overly skeptical. Some adults even have a tendency to be cynical. Adults say, "Yeah. I've heard that old positive line before. It will be a long day in June before I fall for that positive line. You've got to prove to me it's any good." See, that's adult, but kids aren't that way. Kids think you can get anything. They are really funny. You tell kids, "We're going to have three swimming pools." And they say, "Yeah. Three. One each. Stay out of my swimming pool." See, they start dividing them up right away, but adults are not like that. Adults say, "Three swimming pools? You're out of your mind. Most people don't even have one swimming pool. You'll be lucky to get a tub in the back yard." You notice the difference? No wonder the master teacher said, "Unless you can become like little children, your chances, they're skinny."

4) Trust - Trust is a childish virtue, but it has great merit. Have you heard the expression "sleep like a baby"? That's it. Childish trust. After you've gotten an A+ for the day, leave it in somebody else's hands.

Curiosity, excitement, faith and trust. Wow, what a powerful combination to bring (back) into our lives.

Vitaminer för ditt tankesätt #1

Övervinna det negativa från Jim Rohn;

We must all wage an intense, lifelong battle against the constant downward pull. If we relax, the bugs and weeds of negativity will move into the garden and take away everything of value.

Humility is a virtue; timidity is a disease.

If you spend five minutes complaining, you have just wasted five minutes. If you continue complaining, it won´t be long before they haul you out to a financial desert and there let you choke on the dust of your own regret.

You cannot take the mild approach to the weeds in your mental garden. You have got to hate weeds enough to kill them. Weeds are not something you handle; weeds are something you devastate.

Mer kloka ord från Jim Rohn;

Something will master and something will serve. Either you run the day or the day runs you; either you run the business or the business runs you.

Learn how to separate the majors and the minors. A lot of people don't do well simply because they major in minor things.

Don't mistake movement for achievement. It's easy to get faked out by being busy. The question is: Busy doing what?

Days are expensive. When you spend a day you have one less day to spend. So make sure you spend each one wisely.

Sometimes you need to stay in touch but be out of reach.

Time is our most valuable asset, yet we tend to waste it, kill it, and spend it rather than invest it.

We can no more afford to spend major time on minor things than we can to spend minor time on major things.

Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.

Never begin the day until it is finished on paper.

Learn how to say no. Don't let your mouth overload your back.

Time is the best-kept secret of the rich.

Dagen som förändrade ditt liv!

Något att tänka på?

The Day That Turns Your Life Around

Every day is the day that turns somebody's life around forever. Is TODAY that day for YOU?

Think about the successes you've experienced so far in life, and I'll bet you can point to a particular moment in time when each one began, just like the heroine of this brief but powerful story:

One evening, not many years ago, a young housewife realized she didn't have enough cash on hand to buy some of the groceries she needed for the rest of the week.
As a stay-at-home mother and wife, she was entirely dependent upon her husband for income. So, when he arrived home from work that evening, she asked him for an extra 10 dollars.
Hearing the question, he turned to her with visible irritation. He heaved a sigh, rolled his eyes, and asked, "What for?"

She was stung by the contempt in his voice, and by the humiliation she felt at having to grovel for a measly 10 dollars. And in that instant, she made a decision: She would never ask another person for money, ever again.

Today, this same young woman is the vice president of a prestigious company, pulling down a hefty six-figure salary, with a string of promotions behind her and many more sure to come.
Indeed, she has never asked anyone else for money since that fateful day. And she never will.
In hindsight, it's easy to recognize just where, when, and how a success story started.

But what about the successes you haven't yet accomplished — the unrealized goals, dreams, and wishes you're harboring right now?
We're all looking for a transformation in some area of our lives. It could be something as simple as shedding a few extra pounds. Or as significant as finding a whole new career path.
No matter how big or small your current dreams may be, if they're ever going to become a reality, it will be because of one critical day in your life's journey.

The day when you hear the idea, experience the episode, or are hit with the realization that somehow, mysteriously, makes all the difference in the world.
The day when you finally get that elusive "missing piece" you've been waiting for — the thing that suddenly empowers you to actually do the thing you've only dreamed of doing up until now.
The day when you take a seemingly insignificant step that winds up setting you on a completely new path ... and ultimately leads you to your goal.

Just one day. That's all it takes to turn any "what if?" — what if I were richer, happier, thinner, healthier, more successful, more organized — into what IS.
The question is, When will that day arrive?
Leave it to chance, and it could come next week, or never at all. Worse, it could come and go without your ever picking up on the signs or seizing the opportunity that it brings your way.
